CareerSource Palm Beach County is seeking public comment on its WIOA 2-Year Local Plan Update.

 

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) requires local workforce development boards to develop a four-year local plan and review and update that plan at the midpoint of the planning period. This update allows CareerSource Palm Beach County to reflect changes in our local workforce needs, services, programs, partnerships, and economic conditions.

 

As part of Florida’s regional workforce planning efforts, CareerSource Palm Beach County has also partnered with CareerSource Research Coast to develop a combined regional plan. The regional plan is accompanied by a local addendum that outlines Palm Beach County’s specific workforce priorities, strategies, and services.

 

We invite jobseekers, employers, community partners, education and training providers, and members of the public to review the plan and provide comments.

 

Public Comment Period: 10/2 (8:00 a.m.) – 10/16 (5:00 p.m.)
