The Delray Beach Public Library has long been known for helping people with job searches and gaining digital literacy, through one-on-one resume advice and classes teaching computer skills. While many Palm Beach County libraries closed physically due to the pandemic, the Delray Beach Public Library was among the first to re-open on May 21. The Library has continued to offer job search and technical skill building virtually so people can benefit from the resources at home.

The county’s rate also fell below the 8.5 percent national rate.
