West Palm Beach, Fla. (Aug. 15, 2025) – CareerSource Palm Beach County and FloridaCommerce announced today that the July 2025 was 4.1%, matching the statewide rate and up 0.3 percentage point from 3.8% a year ago. The county’s labor force grew to 783,790, an increase of 3,117.

- An expanding labor pool as recent graduates and newcomers move to Palm Beach County for its strong job market.
- Job seekers re-engaging in the workforce after training, education, or career changes.
- Seasonal industry shifts creating temporary gaps before workers transition into new roles.
This snapshot below shows the bigger picture: Palm Beach County saw the most job growth in Education and Health Services, Leisure and Hospitality, and Trade, while only Professional and Business Services and Construction saw small declines.
