Hiring Event - Cafe St. Regis Restaurant Staff

Cafe St. Regis, a Caribbean and Mediterranean fusion restaurant is opening in Lake Worth, Florida, and is looking to hire new staff.  Over 40 positions are available including bartenders, bussers, cashiers, cooks servers, and shift supervisors.

Qualifications for each position listed below.  

Bartenders

Job Requirements: 

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Understanding of Alcoholic beverage laws.
• Ability to use portion control when making drinks for customers.
• Full-time Bartenders will work 40 per week.
• Part-time Bartenders will work at least 20 hours per week.
• May schedule additional hours as necessary.
• Be available to work flexible work schedules (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• At least 12 months' restaurant Bartender experience is required.
• Work Schedule: Will work flexible hours: Sunday – Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight, Friday – Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Servers

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Full-time Servers will work 40 per week.
• Part-time Servers will work at least 20 hours per week.
• May schedule additional hours as necessary.
• Be available to work flexible work schedules (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• At least 12 months' restaurant Server experience is preferred but not required.
• Employer is willing to train persons who are willing to learn.
• Base salary is State of Florida requirement for Servers of $5.54 an hour + tips.
• Work Schedule: Will work flexible hours: Sunday – Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight, Friday – Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Cook

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• References from previous restaurant work experience must be provided
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Understanding of restaurant kitchen functionalities.
• Full-time Cooks will work 40 per week.
• Part-time Cooks will work at least 20 hours per week.
• May schedule additional hours as necessary.
• Be available to work flexible work schedules (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• At least 12 months' restaurant Cook experience is required.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Work Schedule: Will work flexible hours: Sunday – Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight, Friday – Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Shift Supervisors 

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 12 months' previous restaurant supervisory experience preferred, at least 12 months' supervisory experience required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Must have valid drivers' license to perform bank drops and other work-related financial transactions during the shift.
• This position will handle communication in either English or Spanish.
• Full-time, 40 per week.
• May schedule additional hours as necessary.
• Be available to work flexible work schedules (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• Work Schedule: Will work flexible hours: Sunday – Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight, Friday – Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Busser

Job Requirements:

• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Aptitude to learn other positions within the restaurant atmosphere.
• Full-time Busboys will work 40 per week.
• Part-time Busboys will work at least 20 hours per week.
• May schedule additional hours as necessary.
• Be available to work flexible work schedules (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• At least 12 months' experience is preferred but not required.
• Employer is willing to train persons who are willing to learn.
• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Employee benefits will be offered after one (1) year from the date of employment.
• Work Schedule: Will work flexible hours: Sunday – Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight, Friday – Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Cashier

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Experience in customer service.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Mathematical skills.
• Part-time will work at least 25 hours per week.
• May schedule additional hours as necessary.
• Be available to work flexible work schedules (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• At least 12 months' restaurant Cashiers experience is preferred but not required.
• Employer is willing to train persons who are willing to learn.
• Employee benefits will be offered after one (1) year from the date of employment.
• Work Schedule: Will work flexible hours: Sunday – Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight, Friday – Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
